Wigan-based professionals donned their thinking caps to take part in a Universally Challenged quiz and networking lunch hosted by the Royal Bank of Scotland.
More than 80 professionals from Wigan, Bury and Bolton, including local solicitors, accountants and surveying firms, took part in the event at the Ramada Hotel in Blackrod. The teams were quizzed on topics ranging from professional knowledge of their sector through to films, music, general knowledge and sport.

The winning team came from chartered accountants Barlow Andrews who pipped valuers and Estate Agents Miller Metcalfe to the trophy after a tense tie-breaker.

The event was organised by the RBS Commercial Banking team in South Lancs as part of their professionals luncheon programme.
