Entries are now being welcomed for this year's Wigan Business Awards.
Celebrating business excellence across the borough, the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce-run awards invite nominations from members and non-members alike in a variety of categories.

Dave Jones, director of commercial banking at main sponsor
RBS, said: "RBS is delighted to again be a premier sponsor of the Wigan Business Awards.

"We recognise the great talent that is present in Wigan Borough businesses and want to play our part in promoting the success stories across the borough. Last year's awards were very well received and this year we want even more businesses to get involved by nominating themselves or their clients.

"We are certain that there are businesses out there who deserve the highest accolades and RBS working with the Chamber of Commerce and other sponsors are determined to find and celebrate these firms."

The closing date for entries is Friday, August 8, with the awards themselves taking place on Friday, November 14 in the Marquee Suite of the JJB Stadium. Short-listed entrants will be invited to meet the panel of judges and will gain significant publicity via the event programme and local press.

The range of categories this year includes Entrepreneur of the Year, Fastest Growing Business Most Innovative Business; Best Media Campaign, Best Newcomer, Best Small Business, Family Business of the Year and Most Customer-Focused Business.

To download the nomination form and find out more, visit www.wiganbusinessawards.co.uk or for a chat about the nominations process, call the chamber's local area manager, Paul Foster, on 07811 395515.
