Standard Life has sold another 2.5m shares in JJB Sports, taking its holding below the 5% mark.
The disposal means that the Edinburgh-based fund management firm has reduced its holding from 19m shares, or 7.9%, to 11.3 million (4.7%) in the space of a week.

Pensions on back burner MORE than three-quarters of people living in the North West have not yet started providing financially for their future, or feel they have not set enough aside because of the increasing cost of living.
According to a new study by FSB Care, 78% of working age adults are not contributing towards pension schemes or saving for when they retire, while a meagre one in eight people feel they have provided adequately for their future.
The survey went on to reveal that 45% of people do not plan their finances beyond 12 months, while one in four admitted to looking no further ahead than 30 days.
