Wigan-based marketing agency Parker Sandford (PSG) has won a contract to overhaul the online branding of pub and hotel group Mitchell's of Lancaster.
PSG will help Mitchell's to not only market their 55 hotels and restaurants in Lancashire and Cumbria but also to effectively use all the customer data to invigorate their marketing approach.

'Burden' of councils
More than seven
out of 10 businesses feel that council red tape can be a bigger burden than tax and employment law.
Other results from the independent survey – commissioned by the newly formed Local Better Regulation Office include firms receive inconsistent compliance advice from different local authorities and a lack of consultation by local authorities over the enforcement of laws covering areas such as consumer protection and health and safety.

Raindrops save cash
Wigan businesses are being asked to consider rainwater harvesting to cut back on costs.
Rainwater can be utilised in many ways from toilet flushing through to cooling water in manufacturing processes, particularly as the "soft" nature of the water means there is reduced limescale deposits.
