A young actor is turning his hand to beauty therapy, hoping to set up a chain of botox clinics on the Wigan borough.
At the young age of 25, David Taylor, who has appeared as an extra in Emmerdale, Coronation Street and Born and Bred, is also a trainee GP with an ambition to break into the cosmetic world.

He and fellow GP Jack Kinsey, 31, who practises at Parbold Surgery, are setting up a clinic offering botox treatment at Inglewood Healing Centre on June 21. The clinic will offer botox, facial therapies and dermal fillers for the skin.

Both doctors are registered and have completed the accredited three-
month cosmetology course.

The doctors are working as part of North West Aesthetics and will also practice at Total Fitness in Ashton from July 19.

They are also hoping to expand further at Kilhey Court Hotel, Standish, and Next Generation gym in Chorley

Several hairdressers and dentists already offer botox treatments, but there are very few clinics in the area that are operated by qualified doctors.

Dr Taylor, 25, Appley Bridge, said: "It's become more acceptable these days. It's a growing market.
"It's an area we are both interested in. We have got an aesthetic background and wanted to give it a go.

"Everyone is supportive and it's a business venture for us and we will see how we do.
"Psychologically it treats you - it's all about looking better and feeling better.

"We are doing 100% professional treatments, with full consultation - it's almost like a GP clinic."

While Dr Taylor is focusing on the expansion of the botox clinics, he is still keen to expand on his acting horizons, and is signed with Pan Artist in Sale, Manchester.

He earned his biggest role in Hollyoaks two years ago as a young boy racer.

North West Aesthetics provides botox, dermal fillers and anti-ageing treatments by registered doctors trained in Medical Aesthetics.
