The nominees have been unveiled for this year's Wigan Business Awards.
A total of 27 of the borough's thriving businesses will battle it out for honours at the ceremony to be held on Friday, November 14, at the JJB Stadium with Andy Burnham, MP presenting alongside sponsors.

Over the past month, entries have been whi
ttled down across nine categories to a final shortlist that represents the diversity of talent in the Wigan area.

The event, which was revived last year, is once again hosted by Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.

Paul Foster, Local Manager for Wigan at the Chamber, said: "Greater Manchester Chamber is committed to promoting business excellence across the borough.

"All of our short listed firms are local success stories and we look forward to celebrating their achievements on the night."

Dave Jones, Director of Commercial Banking at main sponsors RBS, added: "RBS is delighted to again be the premier sponsor of the Wigan Business Awards. We recognise the great talent that is present in Wigan Borough businesses."
