Charity concert for children

A TOP Wigan-born musician is to direct a special charity concert.

Richard Lea, organist of Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral is to lead his Brixi Singers choir and orchestra at a performance in Manchester in aid of the Cornerstone children’s fund.

The concert at St John’s RC Church, High Lane, Chorlton-cum-Hardy, at 7.30pm on December 16, will also feature soloists Alexandra Lowe, Lara Harvey and Curtis Perriman.

Tickets are £10, concessions £8 and under-18s free. They can be bought on the door or on 0161 973 3766.
