What a bright idea...
Staff and volunteers at Marie Curie Cancer Care
STAFF at Wigan’s Local Marie Curie Fundraising office held a Wear Yellow To Work day, and are hoping to inspire other businesses to do the same.
Fund-raising staff really got into the spirit things and drank tea from yellow mugs, baked lemon cake and ate cheese sandwiches for lunch.
Marie Curie’s official Wear Something Yellow To Work Day is Friday March 2nd, right at the start of the Marie Curie Great Daffodil Appeal, the charity’s flagship fundraising appeal.
All money raised as part of the Great Daffodil appeal will help Marie Curie Nurses to provide more free care to terminally ill people in their own homes. If you want to register your workplace, head to www.mariecurie.or.uk/wearyellow and you will receive a free fundraising pack to give you some inspirational fundraising ideas for your workplace.
