Manchester United have retained the Premiership with a 2-0 win at Wigan, Sir Alex Ferguson's 10th league title.
In a dramatic afternoon, Cristiano Ronaldo then Ryan Giggs scored for the champions as their nearest challengers Chelsea were held to a draw by Bolton.

But Manchester City were routed 8-1 away at Middlesbrough in what could be Sven-Goran Eriksson's final match.
