Emmerson Boyce is still on cloud nine after Latics finally put one of the big four to the sword.
But he and his Wigan team-mates are determined it won't be a distraction as they prepare for their next test.
Hull City away hasn't quite the glamour of entertaining moneybags Chelsea.

But as he turned his attention to this coming Saturday's game
, Boyce said: "Hull is the important game for us now.
"We have beaten Chelsea and now we have to go Hull who lost 6-1 to Liverpool, but that defeat makes for dangerous opponents.

"We will go to the KC Stadium full of confidence but now we have to show another side of our game.
"We are not playing against one of the top four, we are playing against a team that has come off the back of a bad result and they will be fired up for the game.

"So we've got to show what a good team we are by going to Hull and putting in a performance like we did against Chelsea.
"If we go to Hull and lose it would be a major disappointment and it would mean this result meant less.

"Our best final league position has been 10th so we've got to beat that and that's what we will be looking to do.
"We felt that we should have finished in the top eight last year, but we had a disappointing end to the season and our league position didn't really reflect what a good season we had.

"Now the new manager has come in and he has told us where he wants us to be so it is up to us now to finish as high up the table as we can."

However, Boyce hasn't totally forgot the famous victory over Carlo Ancelotti's team just yet.
He said: "It was a good team performance and it shows the beauty of the Premier League, anyone can beat anyone.

"Obviously Burnley beat Manchester United a few weeks ago.
"For us, it has been a long time in coming but personally I think it was well deserved.

"I thought we played well first half. The manager has come in and he's given us the confidence to pass the ball and change the way we play, so full credit to him.
"He's given us the belief that was can play against Chelsea and pass the ball around, we were more calm this time around and we got the goals when we needed to.

"In the second half it was a bit of a sloppy start from us, but we got the penalty and it changed the game.
"Then we went on and scored the third which was made it even more of a good victory for us.
"Titus gets important goals every now and then, and fair play it was a good header from to get us on our way.
"You want to play against the best and Drogba and Anelka are up there so to come away with a good result is just fantastic."
