Striker Emile Heskey is joined in the England squad for the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers away to Andorra and Croatia by former Latics favourite Jimmy Bullard.
The Fulham midfielder is the shock inclusion in Fabio Capello's squad.
Bullard is revered by Latics fans for his contribution to the club's rise.

He was signed from Peterborough by Paul Jewell and played an instrumental role in steering Wigan to two promotions.

Bullard's call-up completes a remarkable recovery from a career-threatening ligament injury which he suffered almost exactly two years ago.

England play Andorra in Barcelona's Olympic Stadium at 7pm on Saturday evening and then travel to Zagreb for their second qualifier against Croatia on Wednesday, September 10.
