Young midfielder Lewis Montrose has signed a new one-year contract at Latics.
He ended last term on loan at Rochdale but impressed Bruce enough to earn a new deal – the only one of last season's first-year professionals to get one.

Bruce said: "Lewis has done well and has a chance now.
"He knows the competition for places at the club is the strongest it has ever been, but we feel he has the potential and now it's completely up to him. Let's see how he progresses during the course of this season."
