Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce should complete a deal for Egypt striker Amr Zaki next week.
Latics will pay a £1.5m loan fee and have first option to sign him for £4.5m in 2009.

There is also believed to be an extra payment of £500,000 if Zaki scores 10 goals next season.

Meanwhile, Premier League new boys Hull have joined the race to sign Wolves midfielder Seyi Olofinjana, linked earlier this week to the JJB Stadium.

Bolton are also in the hunt for the 28-year-old after Wolves agreed to put the Nigerian on the transfer list.
