A young actress has landed her first professional role – in a TV road safety campaign.
Megan Fisher, 14, pictured, from Lovers Lane in Atherton, won the part of a grieving daughter in a road safety promotion.
The Hesketh Fletcher student attends the "A Will And A Way Acting School" at Westleigh High School and her teachers believe she has what it takes to go all the way.
Megan's proud mum Sandie, 36, said: "We're thrilled because it was her first audition and she got it.
"We went to film in Wales and it was a great day. Megan's got a real taste for acting now."
The multi-talented youngster also dances and has just plumped for performing arts choices in her GCSE options.
Actress Melanie Ash, who organised the castings for the "A Will and a Way" acting school, said: "The casting director was blown away by Megan's performance in the casting.
"It's very difficult to cry on demand, and harder to make it convincing, but she was marvellous."
Acting coach Will Travis said: "Megan showed promise from the start - she's a smashing actress and if she carries on like this she'll go a long way."
The advert will be shown in Wales.
