A FORMER call girl who spent her childhood in Wigan and Leigh has been signed up to a celebrity management agency following the release of her revealing autobiography.
Rachael Webster who lived in Leigh until she was 12, is now managed by Exclusive Press and Publicity, which also deals with the PR of the likes of Lorraine Kelly and EastEnders actress Natalie Cassidy.
The 41-year-old said: “Following the release of my autobiography and the fact it was in The Daily Mail, I have been doing my own PR, but thought I needed a management company. I have already been asked to speak on This Morning, but not sure if I will do it yet. It is all very exciting, especially as I don’t know what is going to happen.”
The First Floor is an account of her journey from a party girl lifestyle in London to living in a homeless hostel and she is also hoping to use some of the money from the book to plough into charities whose work she particularly identifies.
She added: “I wanted to help abused children through my story and I have been able to. Without my book and my mum’s death, I wouldn’t be able to do this. It is great to turn my experiences into something positive.”
