DESPITE all the happiness and excitement of Kym Marsh’s wedding day, the Ashton actress took a few moments to remember her baby Archie, who was born prematurely in 2009.
The 36-year-old carried a little piece of him as she had his ashes by her side.
Archie’s footprints were engraved on new husband Jamie Lomas’ wedding band, as well as on his cuff links and Kym’s necklace.
Kym told OK! magazine, shortly before the wedding: “We’ve been together for five years and been through more in our life that most people go through in a lifetime.
“Little Archie won’t be there, but we know he’ll be looking down.”
In an exclusive deal, OK! revealed all about the ceremony, with plenty of photos.
Kym, who dropped a dress size for the wedding, looked stunning in a Suzanne Neville gown, with a fishtail, and was walked down the aisle by her father, David and son, David Cunliffe, to Eva Cassidy’s At Last.
Kym’s daughter, Emily, who was a bridesmaid alongside Jamie’s sisters Emmerdale actress Charley Webb and Cassie Lomas, sang Adele’s Make You Feel My Love.
There were a few laughs as Charley’s long term partner and Emmerdale actor Matthew Wolfenden read out a poem he penned himself.
The Coronation Street actress revealed she was nervous on the day and Jamie joked he was looking forward to the day being over and them getting back to their hotel room.
She added that the first dance was a surprise to everyone and that she was concerned about being too soppy.
She said: “Public displays of affection generally don’t happen with us - it will be funny.”
And the couple reflected on the seriousness of the vows, adding: “We’ve learnt something from every failed relationship.
“I’m more mature and I know where I want to be in life and I’m very settled and comfortable with who I am.”
Kym added she will take the surname Lomas, but is still considering whether to keep Marsh for professional purposes.
The happy couple were snapped looking all loved-up on their honeymoon in Cyprus.
