SIR Bradley Wiggins is in such high demand, he is now following in the footsteps of footballer David Beckham.
The Tour De France winner, whose wife is from Shevington, has signed a joint venture agreement with XIX Entertainment, managed by Simon Fuller. Other clients include David Beckham, Andy Murray and Lewis Hamilton.
Sir Bradley said the agreement will help him take the next step in his career.
He said: “I admire Simon’s fearless mindset and proven ability to create new possibilities.
“I am proud of my career to date but still feel there is much to accomplish, both personally and for cycling as a whole.
“I know Simon and his team are the best people to help me do that.”
Simon Fuller is determined to team up with more sports identities and admitted that Sir Bradley’s success has raised cycling’s profile as a whole.
He added: “Bradley has endeared himself to followers worldwide through the scale and manner of his success.
“He enjoys both an extraordinary past and a clear and ambitious view of the future. We are thrilled to be partnering him at this exciting time for him.”
