HAPPY Birthday Carley Stenson, who turns 30 today.
The former Hollyoaks star, who is currently playing Princess Fiona in Shrek, said: “There is a tradition in the cast that we do a cake on people’s birthdays and they get sung to, but when I get back home I’m planning a big party up north where I’m inviting pretty much everyone I’ve ever known.
“It will be a bit theatrical — as I tend to be!”
And her birthday celebrations started a week early, as last Sunday, Carley posted on Twitter; “Birthday Celebration week started last night. The countdown has begun! X so excited x
Carley admitted that the north - particularly her birthplace of Billinge - will always be her home.
She told Closer magazine: “I moved to London two years ago and, while I love it there, up north will always be home.
“I spent so much time in Liverpool when I starred at Steph in Hollyoaks and all my family and old friends are there.
“If I could move my job back home, I would do it.”
She also added that she now lives alone in a flat in London, as her old room mate has moved out.
She said: “I miss her loads, but I’m enjoying living by myself and being able to put nice little touches to the place to make it feel like my own.
“I’m a bit of a net freak too, so living alone is probably a good idea.”
