IT was like a game of Spot the Lookalike as costume-clad Wiganers took to the streets for charity.
Everyone from Mr T to Zippy, Harry Hill to Evel Knievel could be seen in the 72-strong fancy dress crowd from the Lions Den Fitness Centre in Ashton.
Hopping on bikes they cycled 20 miles from Wigan to Southport to raise money for The Christie cancer hospital in Manchester and Park Lane Chapel in Wigan.
The sponsored event was organised by fitness coaches from the gym, Geoff Dean, Adele Forshaw and Lee Forshaw.
Lee said: “We were all sponsored and we also stopped off at various pubs along the way with collection buckets, so we are still counting how much we raised.
“It was a fantastic day and lots of people turned up.
“It was amazing to see everyone is fancy dress and it certainly grabbed a lot of people’s attention.
It was a great team bonding exercise and we will certainly do it again.”
