LAURA White is returning home for a special concert.
The Atherton-born singer, who found fame on X Factor, is performing at Cirque, Queen’s Road, Manchester on January 15.
She will then head back to London for a gig on January 17.
The 28-year-old, who earlier this year signed her first deal with Turn First Records, will be performing songs from her second EP, 1504, as well as her first, What My Mother Taught Me.
And the singer has also filmed a Christmas special for ITV with Aled Jones, famous for the classic hit Walking In The Air.
Details of the show are yet to be revealed but it is thought the shoot was for ITV Weekend, which Aled hosts on Saturday and Sunday mornings in December.
Laura posted on social media: “Itv filming #music #christmasspecial,” and “Day filming with Aled Jones was magical,” with a 15 second teaser video.
She also posted on Aled’s Twitter page: “You are my hero.”
Known also for her self penned incredible songs as well as her voice, she is also now acclaimed for writing many hits for artists including NY Raining, sang by Charles Hamilton and Rita Ora.
The song was even Grammy shortlisted and hit the US number one billboard after its cameo on Empire.
She has spent this year writing her own material, as well as writing for Paloma Faith and Alicia Keys.
