CALLING all Twi-hards! Cinema bosses have announced an all-night Twi-athalon in advance of the release of the penultimate film in the Twilight Saga.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part One is released nationwide on November 18, a date that will be etched in the mind of the most avid bloodsucker fans.

But before the long-awaited film hits the silver screen, there is a chance to get a fix of Bella, Edward and Jacob on November 17 as Empire Cinema screens all the films released, so far, in one sitting.

For nearly 500 minutes and for £15, fans of the massively popular vampire series can watch Twilight at 4.30pm, The Twilight Saga: New Moon at 7pm, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse at 9.30pm, finishing with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part One just after midnight.

General manager of Empire Cinema Wigan, Nicola Wood said: “This Twi-athalon is to build the excitement for the latest film in the Twilight saga.

“It’s such a fantastic series of films and books and so this is just a chance for people to bring themselves up to speed with the story of Twilight.

“It’s also an opportunity for those who haven’t seen any of the films to get on board and discover the fantastic story.

“And it’s a great price of £15 to watch all four films.”

Twi-athalon tickets will be charged at the same price whether cinema-goers choose to watch all four or just one of the films.

If you can’t wait until then for a fix of spookiness, the cinema is celebrating Halloween with an all-night spooky special of four horror/fantasy films from 11.30pm onwards on October 29.

The night kicks off with a showing of the Norwegian fantasy flick, Troll Hunter followed by Sam Raimi’s Drag Me To Hell, then Pan’s Labyrinth and if you’re brave enough, The Evil Dead.
