Death of a CAB radio character

POPULAR character featured on an amateur radio station in Wigan has died.

Ohmer Simpson, a parody of Homer Simpson, who was featured on Citizens Band Radio, broadcast from a house in Beech Hill, has been killed off.

Ohmer’s 43-year-old creator, (pictured) who wished to remain anonymous said: “It is a sad loss to the Citizens Band Radio.

“He lost his life to protect his family from harassment.

“We thank the hundreds of breakers who have been in touch.”
