Fun in the sun for Sherrie

SHERRIE Hewson is in for a sunny delight.

The Wigan resident will make her first appearance in ITV comedy Benidorm on Friday, at 9pm.

She stars as snooty new hotel manager Joyce Temple who is determined to upgrade the Solana to a four-star grading.

Meanwhile, the Loose Women presenter recently revealed on Twitter that her cousin is retired footballer Garry Birtles, who is best known for his time at Nottingham Forrest.
