A WIGAN bowling centre is calling on children to swap pins for pens and get their creative juices flowing.

AMF is one of 42 bowling centres across the UK launching its Monster Bowl event this October and is urging young bowlers to create their very own monster for a nationwide competition that will see them win a bowling session for all their classmates, a life-size cut-out of their creation, and see the creature introduced in each of the country’s venues.

Sarah Baird, assistant manager at the centre, said: “Following the popularity of our Monster Bowl experience last year, we’re bringing it back this October throughout half-term,

“Halloween and Bonfire Night activities and entertainment include bowling games and festivities with spooktacular packages.”

Anyone wishing to enter can pick up a form at the centre, or download one from http://www.amfbowling.co.uk/monster_bowl.
