CARLEY Stenson has been performing alongside an array of West End’s leading men from next week.
The star, who is currently living back in Billinge after her stints in Legally Blonde and Shrek The Musical, joined Lee Mead, Matt Willis, David Thaxton and Stephen Rahman-Hughes in a spectacular theatrical concert titled The West End Men.
She took over the female role from Kerry Ellis on June 17 at the Vaudeville Theatre, London, until tonight.
Directed by Mitch Sebastian, the production features songs from the West End, Broadway and beyond in theatrical style, backed by a full live band and choir.
Carley, who was excited to be reunited with Lee Mead, who also starred in Legally Blonde with her, tweeted: “Thank you for your wonderful support regarding @WestEndMen.”
And before she started, she posted on Twitter: “Goosebumps listening to @WestEndMen and the applause from my dressing room. The lovely @kerryjaneellis1 left me chocolates too thank you.
“Thanks for all my good luck msgs peeps. Means a lot. Very excited about my opening night.”
The former Hollyoaks star is also a guest visitor at Battersea Dogs and Cat’s Home’s fun day on July 6.
She said: “This is going to be a fantastic event where families and pets can celebrate the wonderful work carried out by the staff and volunteers at the home. I am very excited about judging the doggy classes and making lots of new furry friends!”
Meanwhile, the 30-year-old spoke about how she found love with boyfriend of tow years, Danny Mac, who plays Dodger Savage in Hollyoaks,
She said: “People assume we met at Hollyoaks, but we actually met in a pub in London.
“I had come to see Legally Blonde and as he used to star in Wicked, he had a few friends in the show.
“I was about to leave the pub when he came to speak to me and we got chatting and found we had friends in common, and the rest is history.”
