FORMER Wigan Athletic ace Jimmy Bullard brought Ant and Dec to tears of laughter as he won four stars in his first bushtucker trial on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
The loveable cockney was in hilarious form as he took on the “Tunnel of Terror” in a manner you would expect, with loud screams, expletive-littered language and the odd joke along the way.
There was certainly pressure on the former Wigan Athletic midfielder too, especially after fellow contestant Carl Fogarty managed to get a full house during the first trial on Sunday.
“If you don’t do it, don’t come back,” joked newsreader Michael Buerk as he left camp.
Jimmy had to work his way through several submerged compartments filled with various creatures in order to win meals for his campmates.
First up were water dragons. “What is that man? Jesus Christ!” he bellowed as he did his best to avoid the leaping reptiles before grabbing the star.
He then headed under water to join 50 eels with Ant and Dec offering words of encouragement as he picked up another, before being nipped by a number of crabs as he picked up two more. “Sorry son,” he quipped to one after knocking it.
But the real hilarity was as he attempted to pick up the final star when he came face to face with a number of water pythons.
The 36-year-old literally hid away in the corner, shrieking and screaming at the sight of one, much to the enjoyment of Ant and Dec.
