FORMER X Factor singer Laura White is now at home and preparing for a series of gigs after a short spell in hospital.
The Atherton-born star was forced to cancel a few shows last week after she fell ill.
But the 26-year-old has fully recovered and ready to perform again.
She thanked fans for their support on Facebook and Twitter, commenting: “When your fans ring and turn up at the hospital you are in, you know you have the craziest but most beautiful fans in the world. #babys.”
Never one to let her fans down, Laura has rescheduled the gig she had to cancel and will be at Raffles Chelsea in London on Wednesday June 4 - the gig she had to cancel due to illness.
She will then be at Surya on Pentonville Road on Sunday June 8. She said: “It’s real intimate, and underground, so if this your vibe, you can’t miss.”
Prior to her short spell in hospital Laura had been writing her second EP as a follow up to What My Mother Taught Me.
In other music news Starsailor frontman James Walsh played an exclusive ‘secret gig’ at alternative radio station Absolute Radio’s headquarters in Golden Square, London.
The former Wigan and Leigh College student performed a selection of tracks from his new solo album Turning Point.
The star also treated fans to stripped back versions of classic Starsailor.
Following the exclusive concert, he took part in a Q&A session, revealing that his music idol is Bruce Springsteen and his first concert had been the Boo Radleys.
The event was the second instalment of six secret summer gigs organised by StubHub UK as part of their #gigenvy campaign.
Richard Griffiths, at StubHub, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with James Walsh and Absolute Radio to host his VIP live and intimate London gig.
“At StubHub, the fan experience is what matters to us and partnering with Absolute Radio has allowed us to put on the ultimate gig for James’ fans.”
