FORMER Wigan college student Andy Brown caused a stir when he hinted he and his band Lawson were working with Justin Bieber.

Andy, who studied A-level physical education, biology and psychology at Winstanley College, tweeted to say the band was in the studio with the pop star, however they later confirmed it had simply been a happy coincidence.

Meanwhile, Lawson have given fans the chance to see behind the scenes on the making of their music video for new single Learn To Love Again.

The When She Was Mine four-piece unveiled their fire-themed video for the song at the end of 2012, and are seen discussing the meaning of the track and rehearsing their moves in the newly unveiled teaser.

Filmed in The Old Vic Tunnels, the track sees the band performing in a dark dungeon-style room in front of dancers, and follows the band’s previous singles When She Was Mine, Taking Over Me and Standing In The Dark.

Andy, Ryan Fletcher, Adam Pitts and guitarist Joel Peat are now preparing to head over to the US ready for a three-date tour across New York, Los Angeles and Toronto, Canada, starting with a show at the Los Angeles Troubadour on January 24.

Lawson will then return to the UK to kick off their Chapman Square tour across 17 dates starting at the Manchester Academy on February 22.
