BOYBAND Lawson have revealed they have collaborated with US rapper B.O.B. for their latest single.

Brokenhearted is scheduled for release on July 7 in the UK and was penned by frontman and former Winstanley College student Andy Brown.

He described the single as: “a bit of a turning point for us as a band. It’s my favourite song we have recorded to date.”

Discussing the collaboration with Airplanes hit maker B.O.B. the band said that working with the star was a “dream” praising the star for “taking the song to the next level.”

And the band shot the video for the single at Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s LA home.

Guitarist Ryan Fletcher said: “I couldn’t believe it when I found out we were using the same place Jay-Z and Beyoncé rent out in LA.

“The first thing I did was roll around in the bed trying to smell Beyoncé.”

Andy had even more fun adding: “I sat on the same toilet as Jay-Z.”

The Learn To Love Again group are scheduled to appear this year’s T in the Park and Isle of Wight festivals this summer and will also be joining the likes of Robbie Williams and Jessie J at the Capital FM Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium.
