HOME is where the heart is for singer Laura White.
The former X Factor singer is back in Atherton so she can spend time with her family at Christmas - and also her fella - Leigh Centurions player Matthew Sarsfield.
She took to social media to announce: “I have met the one. I’m the luckiest girl in the world because he is the most wonderful person I’ve ever met. Love you Matthew Sarsfield.”
She also revealed she was suffering from swollen tonsils but it appears her new beau had cheered her up with Christmas cookie dough.
Meanwhile, she revealed where her heart lies in an interview with online journalist Paul Thomas Bell.
She said: “I look for a good heart, caring, trustworthy, funny, ambitious and I guess someone positive who supports me in every part of me. Also I love a guy who is romantic! I can’t date someone arrogant or someone who is not good-hearted.”She also offered advice on love, saying: “Be happy in yourself. No girl needs a guy. Never settle, you only live once and you deserve to live the life you’ve dreamed of. “We get wiser and we know what we want and need more. The older we get the better love gets.”
The 27-year-old is now working on releasing her debut album through Climax and Island Records. Her song To Be Loved got picked up by Radio One and she is busy gigging in London. She uploads videos of herself singing covers every Wednesday on Twitter and Facebook and she has even got the support for former X Factor winner James Arthur.
