THE ‘Go Walkies’ sponsored dog walk was just one element of the annual Guide Dogs for the Blind fun day.

And it was enjoyed just as much as all the other activities and events on offer during the day at the Guide Dogs for the Blind Training Centre in Atherton.

Visitors had the chance to tour around the state-of-the-art centre, meet the dogs and find out about the work of the guide dogs on the fun day.

People could also experience the sensation of having no vision by walking through a sensory tunnel using sense of touch and hearing to find their way around.

Everyone who took part in the sponsored walk received a free Eukanuba goody bag, a very smart Go Walkies dog tag and a certificate and there was also an activity pack for children taking part too.
