WIGAN rockers Secondson are gearing up for a trio of local gigs.

And to start them off, they will appear on stage at the Tudor House Hotel tonight.

The four-piece will thrash out their killer tunes at the venue for the second time with their newest member, bass player Paul Reay.

Post-punk Liverpool band The Temps are also on the bill along with Bolton prog-rockers Hero Syndrome.

Drummer Stuart Makin said: “It’s always great to play at the Tudor.

“We are looking forward to it as there is usually a good crowd in there, we have never played with The Temps before but its always good to meet and hear new bands.

“This is the second gig in the Tudor since Paul Reay joined the band.

“We have played with Paul in Manchester and Liverpool and things are looking great for the future.”

Secondson which is also made up of Mike Gill, 31, on lead vocals and Simon Anderton, 31, on rhythm guitar will also perform at the Engine Rooms in Skelmersdale on Saturday from 9pm.

They will also travel out of the borough to Bolton and rock the Railway pub in Bromley Cross next Friday from 7.30pm.

The next two weeks also sees the group record their first new track since the line up chance at Jaraf House Studios.
