KYM Marsh is taking a laid-back approach to her forthcoming nuptials with fiance Jamie Lomas.
The pair are to tie the knot at the Nunsmere Hall Hotel in Cheshire in September and the Ashton actress told Lorraine on breakfast TV show Daybreak that she is not nervous about her big day.
She said: “I’ve been so laid-back. And actually, Jamie’s sisters - who I’m very close to - have both been going, ‘Kym, you do know we’ve not got long?!’ I’ve got some help as well - organising it with my friends helping me.”
She told Closer magazine: “I’m so looking forward to getting married. I’ve found my dress and everything is ready to go.”
She also revealed she would not be going to extreme measures to slim down for the big day.
She said: “I’ll try to avoid cream cakes in the run-up, which will be hard because I have a sweet tooth.
“But I don’t get fixated on weight. It’s all about how my clothes feel. I’ve nearly lost all my baby weight, but I don’t put pressure on myself.
“I’m not exercising at the moment because I work 12-hour days, then head home to the kids.”
Despite previously having liposuction on her stomach and a boob-job, the 36-year-old, who looked stunning in a red and white bikini on her hen do in Marbella, insisted she would not want to have any more surgery.
She said: “I’m more comfortable with my body now. I have wobbly bits, but I accept that.”
And whilst Kym is heading up the aisle, she is not keen on her Coronation Street character Michelle getting wed again, following scenes which show her getting closer to old flame Steve McDonald.
She said: “I prefer Michelle to flit from one man to another.”
Meanwhile, Kym has received a caution from Salford City Council for failing to ensure safe disposal of rubbish after she was duped by a con-man. She was due to appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court last week, but the case was withdrawn.
