AS Super League’s top try-scorer, Josh Charnley is used to being the centre of attention.
But fans have never seen him like this – strutting his stuff like a bad extra out of ‘80s cult classic Fame.
The flyer donned a sweatband, pink vest and leg-warmers – and squeezed into some ultra-tight shorts – to shoot a music video, which is set to go online tomorrow!
Charnley and his England team-mate Zak Hardaker filmed a series of hilarious videos during the recent autumn series – which went down a storm with fans.
The four episodes of ‘The Zak and Josh show’ have attracted around 70,000 hits on YouTube, and show the pair causing mayhem.
In one popular clip, they hid in the bath of England team doctor Chris Brookes’s hotel room – and captured the medic’s shock as he discovered them!
In their new segment, they recruited Huddersfield’s Leroy Cudjoe and referee Robert Hicks to join some of the Wakefield Wildcats cheerleaders for a parody of Eric Prydz’s Call on Me music video.
He said: “It was a good laugh to do.”
