FORMER Coronation Street star Sacha Parkinson will be swapping her Wigan roots to move down south.
The 21-year-old, who also starred in Channel Four drama The Mill, has revealed she will leave her Tyldesley home to live in London next year.
She told Closer magazine: “I am going to move in with a friend there next year.
“It’s not where I picture myself forever, though - it will never be my home.
“I have a huge family up north and I get on well with my parents - hence why I haven’t moved out yet!”
She added that she still speaks to her ex Corrie cast mate Brooke Vincent, adding: “Our mums are very close and we’ve been friends since before we were on Coronation Street together. We manage to meet up about once a month, but we chat all the time.”
Sacha said she loved being in The Mill, which was filmed at Quarry Bank Mill, Cheshire.
She said: “I was really privileged to be a part of it. I’ve never done a period drama set this far back and it was fascinating to get a sense of life then. I didn’t wear make-up for two and a half months. It was like playing dress up every day and my skin felt great. It was weird putting make-up on for the wrap party, it felt really false.”
