THEY are the magic names of the moment in the glitz and glam world of dance ... twinkle-toed Vincent Simone and his trip-the-light-fantastic partner, the lovely Flavia Cacace, need very little introduction.

TV’s Strictly Come Dancing stars – for that’s just what they are – follow in some pretty impressive footsteps of yesteryear when the all-singing, all-dancing shows swept the world and are part of important show business history.

Dance ‘Til Dawn follows on from their other hit show, Strictly Come Dancing, and both have been directed and choreographed by the amazing Karen Bruce who prides herself on tapping into just what dance-loving audiences want.

Vincent and Flavia make for a perfect partnership. Their never-less-than amazing dance routines are packed with all that’s best and eye-catching.

Without doubt, the dance shows which have graced our TV screens for a while now have done much to make shows like Dance ‘Til Dawn popular and successful. Certainly, it was almost a capacity audience at the Opera House and the show didn’ let us down.

It’s a thin story – but that didn’t matter a jot. The dance was the star and the whole cast deserve praise and prizes.

There was fun too – and it was all handled in the best possible taste.

Dance ‘Til Dawn is at the Opera House until Saturday.
