THE Ting Tings are back!
The duo, which features Katie White, of Lowton, and Manchester’s Jules DeMartino, have been out of the limelight for a while, busy preparing their new material.
But now they have unveiled their comeback single - Wrong Club.
The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming third album which was recorded in Ibiza and is set for release later this year.
The album, which is as-yet-untitled was co-produced by Andy Taylor of Duran Duran.
It follows We Started Nothing (2008) and Sounds From Nowhereville (2012).
Katie said “It’s about feeling like you don’t fit in - finding someone you can leave with - finding someone like you - finding someone who likes you - even if you can’t dance like the rest.
“It’s a dark take on a good time.
“Finding your place on the dance floor or shunning the stereotypes around you because they can’t see your vision regardless how wrong or right.”
And the band’s famous song That’s Not My Name is also set for a come back as it will be the music for Coke a Cola’s Share a Coke campaign with the names on the bottles.
