ONE Latics fan is taking a long hike to the DW Stadium ahead of tomorrow’s match with West Brom to raise money for Joseph’s Goal.
Carl Davies will walk all the way from Worthington to the ground, raising money for the charity on the way.
Joseph’s Goal was set up by the Evening Post’s Latics correspondent Paul Kendrick to raise money to go towards research Nonketotic Hyperglycinemia, the condition his young son Joe sufers from.
Carl said: “I’ll be walking from my home in Wothington to the Grand Arcade and hopefully getting there at about noon.
“From there I’ll walk to the ground with a bucket collecting money for Joseph’s Goal.
“I was orignally going to do it just as a football thing but others suggested doing it for Joseph’s Goal and I thought it was a great idea.”
