Talent wanted
AUDITIONS for a major talent competition are set to be held in Billinge and Haydock next month.
Young entertainers will get the chance to strut their stuff at the Grange Valley Youth Club and Birchley St Mary’s Social Club as part of a Britain’s Got Talent style contest.
The competition is open to singers, dancers, musicians and performers aged between 11 and 25.
It is split into two age categories - 11-18 and 19-25.
The St Helens Got Talent competiton, now in its fourth year, is run by the police in conjunction with social landlord Riverside Housing, Morrisons, Arena Homes, Safer St Helens and the community boosting Re:new initiative.
Auditions will be held at the Grange Valley Youth Club on Clipsley Lane, Haydock, between 10am-4pm on Saturday, September 11, then at Birchley St Mary’s Social Club on Trent Road, Billinge, between 10-4pm on Saturday, September 25, and Sunday, September 26.
