FROM kneading bread to watching fresh fish being sliced, these hungry children got a lesson where their food comes from.
Pupils of St Patrick’s Primary School visited Tesco Extra, in Wigan, for the store’s Farm to Fork Trail, as part of The Eat Happy Project, aimed at helping youngsters learn about the origins of their meals.
Staff show the children around different counters, including the deli, the fish section, the bakery and fresh produce areas.
They also sampled new foods and made smoothies.
