A WIGAN community group has had a ‘soup-er’ idea to get Wiganers eating healthily.

Swinley’s Food For You provided visitors to the town centre with free homemade soup and a roll at the lunchtime rush to encourage them to lead a healthier lifestyle.

The food was locally sourced and produced by Ince’s Food Positive cooking school.

Chairman of Food For You Nick Burdekin said: “We want to highlight to people the importance of eating the right foods and how easy it can be.”
