A SECOND man has been arrested after a shot was fired at a window in Wigan.
A 20-year-old has been bailed until October 21 on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, assault and criminal damage. Another 20-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday for the same offences and has also been bailed. Three men in a dark coloured Audi car approached a 24-year-old woman walking on Rutland Road, Tyldesley on Saturday. She was hit on the head with a hammer, suffering minor injuries. A shot was fired into a ground floor window. It is believed the men also used a hammer to cause damage to a car outside the address.
