BEN Heppenstall was full of beans - literally - when he took part in a charity fund-raiser at his local Tesco store.
Ben, 21, a security guard at the store in Central Way, bravely volunteered to bathe in the bath throughout the day to raise money for the company’s charity of the year, Cancer Research UK.
Heinz kindly donated beans for the special event which saw Ben sitting in a tin bath in the foyer of the store.
Staff are already getting into the spirit and giving donations, so far £450 has already been collected.
Jamie Hudspith, 22, organiser of the charity event said: “Ben, from Shevington, has been working at the store for four years and immediately jumped at the chance to sit in the bath.
“I haven’t personally been affected by cancer, or know anybody who has but it’s for a good cause and I wanted to do something to help.”
