Express delivery begins at 40
Employees at the City Link parcel delivery depot in Wigan have been celebrating the company's 40th anniversary in business.
The express delivery company formed in 1969 and has since built a solid reputation as one of the UK's most experienced and high quality express delivery companies.
Dave Ritson, general manager at the City Link depot in Wigan, said: "We are very proud of the fact that City Link is celebrating its 40th anniversary in business".
"It is undoubtedly a fantastic achievement to be able to look back on the business over four decades."

City Link has a network of more than 85 depots, employs more than 6,000 people and operates a fleet of 3,000 vehicles to deliver in excess of 350,000 parcels daily.
The company has recently won several major contracts and announced a 31m investment programme in technology, customer care and new depots.
