A WIGAN-based digital marketing agency has created a campaign for Liverpool John Lennon Airport as part of a promotion to drive online holiday bookings and raise awarenes.
Parker Sandford developed a strategic on and offline campaign which included marketing e-mails, a Facebook page, flyers, a microsite, display advertising and print adverts.
At the heart of the campaign was a competition in which one person a week flying from the airport won back the cost of their holiday. Using a microsite with an entry form and competition information, the company created various marketing materials to drive people to the site including social media, online banners, press advertising and e-mails.
Scott Winstanley, head of digital at Parker Sandford, said: “The campaign engaged with its target audience, driving online holiday bookings. Supported by on and offline marketing the holiday competition was a huge success resulting in eight lucky people winning back the cost of their holiday.”
Katie Elliot, head of marketing at Peel Airports Ltd, said: “Parker Sandford have a proven track record in developing and executing engaging campaigns and audience experiences.
“It was great to work with them on this campaign which has helped to raise awareness of the destinations which can be reached when travelling from Liverpool John Lennon Airport.”
