A WIGAN bathroom specialist has secured two excellence hallmarks in less than six months.

PROcare has clients including major housing associations, local authorities and construction firms and designs and supplies adapted bathroom suites to enable people with specific care needs to live independently.

And with the quality and environmental management specialist, Mark 1 Business Systems, it has just achieved dual ISO accreditation (9001 and 14001).

Employing a team of 24, PROCare manages a fleet of vehicles travelling all over the UK. As an environmentally-conscious business, PROCare says it was keen to achieve ISO status in both quality and environmental management.

The firm has implemented waste minimisation programmes and encouraged the use of recycled materials where possible.

Brian Lee, managing director of PROCare, said: “Our business is dependent on robust processes and outstanding products so it was natural for us to seek ISO accreditation.

“Working with Mark 1 Business Systems has given us the direction and support we needed to achieve the standard. We are dedicated to sustaining this now and building on this success.”

Mark 1 MD Mark Nolansaid: “PROCare’s ‘fast track’ to ISO dual accreditation is testament to the company’s drive to maintain excellence in quality and environmental management.”
