A WIGAN law firm raised £120 for Action against Medical Accidents after taking part in a sponsored ’80s dress-down day to help celebrate the charity’s 30th anniversary.

Stephensons’ Clinical Negligence team, which specialises in helping people who have suffered injuries as a result of medical treatment to gain access to justice, held the fancy dress event for an organisation which remains at the forefront of pushing for change and improvement on behalf of people affected by medical accidents.

Departmental head Judith Thomas-Whittingham said: “A lot of planning and creativity went into the various outfits including Rubik’s Cube, Pac Man, Top Gun, Slash and Madonna; even Super Ted made an appearance!”
