A WIGAN-based software company will open a training academy in Salford Quays thanks to a deal arranged with Muse Developments to let 5,600 sq ft of office space at Anchorage Quay.

NETBuilder, based in Pemberton, is a provider of software, consulting and managed services and is relocating its training academy from Worthing.

The academy trains software development graduates in world leading technologies that are generally in short supply and high demand.

Development surveyor at Muse Developments, Greg Ball, said: “It’s great news that a company of NETbuilder’s calibre have chosen to relocate to Anchorage Quay.

“It’s a testament to its excellent location, high quality office accommodation and access to the highest performing graduates, all within a short walk from the hub of Media City.”

Operations Director at NETbuilder, Daniel Gregg, said: “We looked across the country for new facilities suitable for the expansion of our unique academy.

“Anchorage Quay ticked all the boxes, being close to some of the best universities that we recruit from, with good travel links to Manchester and Media City, which offer a great lifestyle for graduates from all over the UK.”
