THREE people were injured after a car smashed into a Wigan hotel.
A 26-year-old man was rushed to hospital after suffering head injuries when the silver Citroen Saxo he was driving crashed into the Coaching Inn, in Warrington Road, Lower Ince, at around 1.15am on Saturday. He had to be cut from the car and was taken to Wigan Infirmary by ambulance, along with two passengers.
A 25-year-old man suffered a broken leg, while a 23-year-old woman was treated for cuts to her face.
It is believed the driver lost control of the car, causing the rear of the vehicle to crash into the historic three-storey building, which had only minor damage.
