A BUNCH of unruly school girls marched from Wigan to St Helens...for a very worthwhile cause.
The annual St Trinnian’s trek between the two towns took place on Sunday, with money raised for Children with Cancer UK.
For organiser Charlotte Walsh, who has been on all 15 of the walks over the year, it was to be her last one as she hung up her tie and stockings.
The group left the Last Orders Pub on Wallgate in the morning, heading off in the bright sunshine.
The “rampage” has been an eye-catching annual event with the group donning the St Trinnian’s school uniform attire in a bid to attract attention to the bucket collections.
Children with Cancer UK, formerly Children with Leukaemia, aims to find cures and provide care for children with cancer. It funds life-saving research, prevention and treatment of childhood leukaemia and other childhood cancers.
